Flight of Fancy; Hummingbird Floral Tulle Wedding Gown
Created in the old Brighton studio from a contemporary specially commissioned embroidered floral tulle fabric. The high-neck bodice is close fitting and has leg-o-mutton sleeves which are full at the top and narrow to fitted gauntlet lower sleeves that close with 3 silk buttons at the wrist. The embroidered tulle skirt extends into a train, and the hem and cuffs are bordered by shaped bands of aqua silk velvet. The dress is fully lined in translucent mint silk organza, which takes away a little of the transparency, but it is still semi-sheer and should be worn over a separate silk slip (not supplied) for full opacity.
The dress closes at the back with a long row of tiny buttons and worked thread loops, which accentuate the curve of the spine.
Constructed with French or bound seams throughout.
This is a one-off completely unique sample gown that has never been worn out of the studio and is in immaculate condition (although not brand new of course). No more will ever be made.

I have given the actual garment measurements below so you can ascertain for yourself how it will work with your own measurements. Remember to double the bodice figures to give maximum circumferences, and whilst this gown is meant to be close fitting, remember to allow an amount of ease over your particular body measurements....these delicate fabrics should not be squeezed into or too much strain will be put on the seams.
**A polite request to please not order to see if you can fit into it if the measurements below make you suspect it will realistically be too tight. Attempting to fit into it in these circumstances is liable to cause damage which in turn means you wont be able to return it for a refund**

Construction The robe has a full silk organza lining, but it should be noted that the overall effect is still translucent so to achieve opacity it will need to be worn over a separate slip ( not supplied)
Care; This synthetic fibre and silk gown should be dry-cleaned by an evening wear specialist only.

Packaging Garments are dispatched in acid free tissue paper and recyclable cardboard boxes sealed with kraft paper eco tape. These are placed inside pouches (for weather protection during transit) which are made entirely from an environmentally friendly compostable bio-plastic created from sugar-cane.
