Silk Sautoir ; Fin-de-Siècle Theatre
A long sautoir style necklace, created from the constituent parts of a damaged antique circa 1900 theatrical costume piece.
A dramatically large medallion of metallic bronze gold thread is embellished with fuchsia silk wrapped beads and various hanging elements. Suspended from an antique ecclesiastical rope of twisted bronze thread wrapped with vintage pure rouleau silk in toning shades (for ease of wear).
A wonderful statement piece.

The ingredients Please be aware that these unique pieces are created from vintage textiles, which have had a previous life, so consequently there may be the odd very minor smudge or tiny catch to the surface of the fabric.
Sustainability Every time a Pavilion Parade piece is purchased a donation is made via Ecologi to fund the planting of a tree and make a positive net contribution to combatting climate change. The trees are environmentally high value and part of gold standard schemes designed and managed to benefit local communities.
Packaging Each sautoir is nestled in a high quality presentation box made from 92% recycled materials which can be wholly recycled at end of life (once ribbon and magnetic closure have been removed and recycled separately).
The lid is hand stamped with our beautiful calligraphy logo, inspired by the view of Brighton Royal Pavilion from the window of my original studio (before relocating to Devon)
